Katelyn L. Thompson, APRN, is a family nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates. She earned her bachelor degree in nursing from University of Kentucky School Nursing, Lexington, and her master’s degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights. Katelyn’s philosophy of care focuses on building personal connections with her patients. She likes to learn about their backgrounds, families and even pets, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment where patients feel at ease. Katelyn chose to become a family nurse practitioner because she enjoys helping people and bringing some brightness into their day. She believes in providing compassionate care and making sure her patients receive the attention they need. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys going on walks with her husband, spending time outdoors and shopping with her family.
